| Damit Messgeräte in der GridVis® Cloud angezeigt und verwendet werden können, muss mindestens ein Cloud Connector im lokalen Netzwerk installiert und konfiguriert sein.
Zur Inbetriebnahme des Cloud Connectors müssen folgende Schritte beachtet werden:
- Installation des Cloud Connectors im lokalen Netzwerk (LAN) mit Zugriff via Ethernet auf die zu überwachenden Messgeräte und mit Verbindung zum Internet.
- Inbetriebnahme des Cloud Connectors: Aufrufen der integrierten Weboberfläche mittels Standard-Browser und IP-Adresse oder über den Hostnamen janitza-connect.
- Konfiguration des Cloud Connectors: Der Cloud Connector muss zunächst einem GridVis® Cloud-Account zugewiesen werden. Dazu ist ein einmaliger Login mit der entsprechenden Janitza ID notwendig. In der Weboberfläche wird dies über einen initialen Wizard abgefragt. Die Zuweisung zum Account erfolgt automatisch im Hintergrund.
- Initiale Messgeräte-Anlage: Der Cloud Connector führt initial einen Scan des Netzwerks nach bekannten Messgeräten durch. Dieser Scan wird per Wizard begleitet, kann jedoch auch in den Hintergrund verlagert werden - in diesem Fall kann es jedoch länger dauern, bis die Messgeräte in der GridVis® Cloud angezeigt werden.
- Optionale weitere Konfiguration: Nach Inbetriebnahme können weitere Messgeräte manuell hinzugefügt oder auch die IP-Einstellungen angepasst werden. Dies ist über das Einstellungs-Menü verfügbar, das per Zahnrad-Icon am oberen rechten Rand aufgerufen werden kann.

Wird der Cloud Connector initial mit dem Netzwerk mit Internetzugriff verbunden, wird zunächst automatisch ein Update auf die neuste Firmware durchgeführt. Das Update kann einige Minuten in Anspruch nehmen, die Weboberfläche des Connectors ist in dieser Zeit nicht erreichbar. |

In order for measurement devices to be displayed and used in the GridVis® Cloud, at least one Cloud Connector must be installed and configured in the local network. The following steps must be followed to commission the Cloud Connector: - Installation of the Cloud Connector in the local area network (LAN) with access via Ethernet to the measurement devices to be monitored and with connection to the Internet.
- Commissioning of the Cloud Connector: Accessing the integrated Web interface using the standard browser and IP address or via the hostname janitza-connect.
- Configuration of the Cloud Connector: The Cloud Connector must first be assigned to a GridVis® Cloud account. This requires a one-time login with the corresponding Janitza ID. In the Web interface, this is queried via an initial wizard. The assignment to the account is done automatically in the background.
- Initial measurement device addition: The Cloud Connector initially performs a scan of the network for known measurement devices. This scan is accompanied by a wizard, but can also be moved to the background. In this case, however, it may take longer until the measurement devices are displayed in the GridVis® Cloud.
- Optional further configuration: After commissioning, additional measurement devices can be added manually or the IP settings can also be adjusted. This is available via the settings menu, which can be accessed via the gear icon in the top right.

If the Cloud Connector is initially connected to the network with Internet access, an update to the latest firmware is first performed automatically.
The update may take a few minutes, the Web interface of the connector is not accessible during this time.
